Blog Webpage Problems...

I've noticed that several blogs I follow have a small number of page views and others have a very large number. Why is that? I am not up to speed on all the ways to get people to find your site, but I hope some of you are! When I first started this blog, it was so helpful to me and others...a way to connect with people with interest in our family's story or experience in adoption. We even met some folks that were in Vladivostok the SAME time we were...what a blessing. At this point, page hits are very low and perhaps I just need to take the blog down again.
I noticed today that my counter is not showing up either.
Basically, I want to continue to connect with others because I am passionate about getting as many of these precious orphans in loving homes as possible. People need to know the need. For me, it started with a simple donation to Shoes for Orphan Souls....and my life will never be the same. : )

Hi. Please don't take it down. I've been enjoying reading about your journey.

I found it by following other blogs and I noticed that we have several things in common. I added it to the blogs I follow so I can see when people update them.

We have a tentative first travel date. I should find out tomorrow if it is "for sure." We are getting excited.

I know I have realized I need to stop using Internet Explorer if I want to be able to post comments. I couldn't figure out for a long time what was wrong (and I still don't really know) but if I once Foxfire I can post comments now....?? Strange and frustrating. Don't close up shop :o) Even if you're like me and don't post often, I still love hearing the little tidbits from you all! It just seems better than Facebook.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. I don't know how to direct readers to a blog, sorry.

On a different topic, since you adopted rom Vlad. you might be interested in helping with http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/pages/Orphans-At-Play/185880158143480 or http://www.orphansatplay.org/.

Porter family, I love reading your blog! You are all such an inspirational family! I too have an adopted daughter, from Korea, and she is light of my world! Every year around the holidays, she gets so down depressed. I hate to see her so upset, but I can't help thinking she wishes she were with her real family. Any advice? I am trying to understand why she isolates herself and with the help of http://onlineceucredit.com/edu/social-work-ceus-iap I am trying to better understand what she is going through.
